Currently, he is pursuing his Master’s of Divinity at Harvard Divinity School.

Helping, fixing and serving represent three different ways of seeing life. When you help, you see life as weak. When you fix, you see life as broken. When you serve, you see life as whole.

Fixing and helping may be the work of the ego, and service the work of the soul.

ABOUT

After earning his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University, Pavan Das embarked on a journey, spanning several years and continents, to enrich his understanding of contemplation and devotion. This path led him to impactful encounters with Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh at Plum Village Monastery, and a deeply personal role as an end-of-life caregiver for the renowned spiritual teacher, Ram Dass.

His profound connection to Ram Dass and the Neem Karoli Baba lineage of Bhakti yoga inspires his kirtan offerings and community outreach through the Sacred Community Project. Furthermore, he serves as a founding board member of Hanuman Maui: Ram Dass Loving Awareness Sanctuary, an intergenerational community and outreach center responsible for continuing Ram Dass’s legacy on Maui.

Now, Pavan Das is pursuing his Master’s of Divinity at Harvard Divinity School, a three year program designed to support his calling to effect social change through informed spiritual leadership. To support Pav's educational journey, you can contribute to his GoFundMe campaign at GoFundMe.com.
